NASDAQ Dubai today announced the names of 12 Saudi companies that will issue future contracts on their shares in September 2018.
These include: 19659004
– Saudi Basic Industries Corporation ( SABIC)
– Al Rajhi Bank
– Saudi Mining Company "Ma & aden"
– Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company. R.
Future NASDAQ Dubai contracts will allow investors to realize upward or downward returns on equity prices, thereby stimulating investor interest in Saudi financial markets.
Individual equity futures will be traded on the NASDAQ Dubai in Saudi Rupees (SAR) according to the NASDAQ Dubai.
In September 2016, Nasdaq Dubai launched futures transactions on seven companies listed in the United Arab Emirates and since then this number has risen to 17 in February 2018. The exchange has added futures to Dubai Financial Market (DFM) DFMGI) and the ADI (Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange) index.
In May 2018, the NASDAQ Dubai announced that it would launch future contracts on individual Saudi shares.
NASDAQ Dubai is working to attract more participants to join the derivatives market as it develops.
This expansion will include investment products, including equity and index futures from various stock exchanges in the region, as well as the launch of product options.
