The National Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced the completion of the second phase of the marine oilfield project by the end of 2018.

The Sea of ​​Peace field is about 110 km from the Libyan coast and includes ENE and WSW in a narrow and long way (about 50 km and about four meters wide) and is located in the central part of the NC-41.

This occurred at the meeting of oil company chairman Mustafa Sinnallah to the executive director of the Italian company "Eni" Claudio Discalzi on Saturday in Tripoli, to discuss ongoing operations in the country. Libya, including plans for the remaining seven wells of the Sea of ​​Peace project, to be completed by the end of this year. .

The two sides discussed opportunities to increase production, investment and exploration, as well as the importance of sustainability projects in all activities, the foundation said on its official website Sunday. .

The meeting discussed the project to develop compressors in the Al Wafa oil field, where gas is expected to start flowing in the coming days. This joint venture is considered a remarkable success despite the difficult conditions in remote areas of Libya.

Eni CEO Claudio Discalzi stressed the importance of the close relationship between society and society, stressing that the company started its logistics activities before resuming its exploratory activities, in accordance with the sharing agreement of the company. exploration and production concluded between the oil company and Eni. According to the National Oil Corporation, meetings between Mustapha Sinnallah and Claudio Discalzi focused on the executive procedures for the preparation of bid documents for the Marine Structures (A & E) Project.

For his part, Sinallah emphasized that Eni is one of the distinguished partners who have always supported the Foundation and that this visit and this joint work between the two parties clearly testify to the company's ambition in Libya, according to the official website of the Foundation.
