Oil prices climbed Wednesday to 73 dollars a barrel after coming close to an all-time low since August, with the support of a report that Russia and Saudi Arabia are planning to cut their production in the US. ;next year.
Crude rose after losses at the start of the session after the Russian news agency Tass cited unnamed sources that the two countries had begun bilateral talks on possible cuts in crude output in 2019.

Brent rose 1.18 USD to 73.31 USD per barrel at 1017 GMT. Crude oil reached $ 71.18 a barrel on Tuesday, its lowest level since August 16th.
