Real Madrid won the Champions League three consecutive times increases its financial worth

Real Madrid has outperformed Manchester United to become the most expensive team in Europe, worth 3.22 billion euros, according to KPMG.

The KPMG report, one of the world's largest professional services and consulting firms, adopted the financial value of each team for the 2016-17 and 2017-18 figures. The study covered the team's benefits, the rights to the television programs it received, the popularity it enjoyed, its sporting abilities, and the value of the financial aspect.

Liverpool and Tottenham, who play in the Champions League final, are seventh and ninth, respectively. Chelsea and Arsenal, who play the final of the European League, are respectively sixth and eighth.

Manchester City is ranked fifth, which means that six English teams are among the top ten teams in Europe.

Real Madrid has won the Champions League twice during the period covered by the study, which has provided support of about 10%.
