Saudi Arabia insists on political solutions to crises in Arab countries

Saudi Arabia, at a meeting of the Council of Ministers chaired by the guardian of the two holy mosques, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Tuesday at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh highlighted the position of the Council of the Arab League at ministerial level concerning the various regional crises That goes through some Arab countries and continues to haunt the obsession of the Arab nation, in the hope that everyone will have the spirit of cooperation and responsibility that will attach to it and that it will endeavor to put an end to this trend by supporting and activating political solutions in line with the international references and resolutions of the relevant Arab Summits.

At the beginning of the meeting, the guard of the two holy mosques briefed the Council on the outcome of his meeting with Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri and discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and developments in the region.

Information Minister Turki Al-Shabana said the government had considered several reports on the evolution of the Arab, regional and international scene, as well as the Kingdom's participation in the 151st session of the Council. of the Arab League at ministerial level in Cairo and at the meeting of the Arab Ministerial Committee on Iranian Interventions. In Arab Affairs, chaired by the United Arab Emirates, which held on the sidelines of the session.

The Minister of Information informed Cabinet of the results of Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir's visit to Pakistan and India on Saudi leaders' directives to work for calm and normalizing relations between the two countries and avoiding anything that could affect security and stability in the region.
