The daughter of Stan Lee, creator of characters like Spider-Man, Iron Man, The Green Man and other superheroes of Marvel's storyteller, said Monday that his father had died at the age of 95.

Lee was a writer and editor who played a pivotal role in transforming the Marvel series into a giant storyboard in the 1960s, when he created, in collaboration with others, superhero characters who loved generations of young readers.

His supernatural characters became an integral part of popular culture and became a box office hit when his stories turned into films.
