The Guinea Alumina Corporation project uses existing railways and towing locomotives over most of the 90-km mine-to-port route. He is currently building railway stations to connect his existing rail network.
The first bauxite exports from Guinea Alumina Corporation are expected to be launched during the second half of 2019. Bauxite is expected to reach about 12 million tonnes per year when the project, with a budget of about 1.4 billion, will be fully operational.
