The Executive Committee of Abu Dhabi holds its first meeting

Mr. Arif Al Awani, Secretary General of the Sports Council of Abu Dhabi, Member of the Supreme Committee for the Organization of the World Games, Abdullah Butti Al Qubaisi, Director of Events and Communication of the Committee of Festivals and cultural and heritage programs, Captain Bader Al Riyami of the ADP GHQ; Public Relations and Communication with the Ministry of Transport, Amira Al Mazrouei, Event Development Manager, Farah Al Bakoushi, Director of Events Development at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Saeed Al Muhairi, Director of Technical Affairs and Sheikha Al Mazrouei from the technical department of Abu Dhabi.
The meeting discussed the objectives of the Host Cities Program, which will be held from 8 to 11 March 2019 in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, as well as its significant contributions to public awareness of intellectual disability and the familiarization of Games participants. The program aims to familiarize participants with the culture of the United Arab Emirates, in addition to organizing educational programs and visits to the most important historical and heritage sites of the United Arab Emirates. Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, to consolidate the UAE's heritage in the hearts of the participants and enjoy the great societal impacts of the World Games. Especially in Abu Dhabi, which is being held for the first time in the Middle East and North Africa since the creation of the Special Olympics Movement.
The meeting also discussed all the steps and requirements of success and work aimed at harnessing the potential of all government agencies, participating delegations to the program, and looking for a separate fingerprint and adding a task to the program of events.
Sheikha Zaabi, technical director of the Sports Council of Abu Dhabi, detailed the future programs that the local executive committee of Abu Dhabi is considering for the host city program and organized during the event and reviewed the events organized during the regional games of March.
