MOSCOW (Reuters) – A computer crashed on Tuesday at the International Space Station because of a software error, the Russian space agency Roscozmos said.
"This mistake will not affect the work of the International Space Station," the agency said.
However, the computer is required for the scheduled landing of an unmanned spacecraft at the station in mid-November. The computer will be restarted on Thursday.
Roskosmos did not explain the software error, but stated that the device did not need to be replaced.
