The study conducted by the Sudanese Professionals' Union on the wage situation in Sudan showed that since 2013, the minimum wage has remained stable at 425 pounds, despite everything. "The current value of the minimum wage for various economic variables We do not need many of us, everyone tastes the same cup and notes the decline in purchasing power, and reduces each day its options and conditions of life.

The study, presented by the Sudanese Trade Union of Professionals, revealed at a press conference held yesterday that the government should recognize its economic institutions, then adjust wages by applying known and proven economic policies through a law, not a decree or a cabinet statement.

The study indicates that the minimum wage has been calculated accurately, that it corresponds to a minimum of (8664) pounds, which makes it possible to satisfy the vital needs and close to the rate of inflation, which can meet the essential needs in food, clothing, housing and health care.
