Reinhard Grindel, president of the German Football Federation (DFB), said that it would be better to organize the Club World Cup every four years rather than every year.
"I think it would make more sense to organize the World Cup every four years instead of the Confederations Cup," said Grindel on the sidelines of a series of events at Darmstadt Wednesday evening.
"But if the Club World Cup continues every year, I'll have a lot of reserves."
"The FIFA Club World Cup will take place in December, but it does not have a major impact at the moment," he said.
"I also have permanent reserves on the Confederations Cup," he concluded.
