The Emirates Heritage Club, in association with the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation, is organizing the third World Pest Control Championships from 29 October to 2 November under the patronage of Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al-Al. Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.

The United Arab Emirates Equestrian and Race Federation has selected the United Arab Emirates Legacy Club to form the United Arab Emirates National Team following testing at the club's stables in September.

Twelve countries – the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Jordan, Iraq, Egypt, Sudan, Yemen, South Africa, Norway, Pakistan, India and the United Arab Emirates – are taking part in the competition.

The participation of the Emirates Heritage Club in this event is the result of the support and encouragement of Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates Equestrian Club.

The choice was made as a result of ongoing cooperation between the village of Boudeeb Equestrian and the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation, in recognition of the club that has contributed to the development of the sport over the recent period.
