The Ukrainian team Vorskla warned on Wednesday that his meeting with Arsenal at home against the European champions on Thursday could not be guaranteed.
Oleg Lysak, president of the Ukrainian club, said on Wednesday that the Olympic Stadium in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, had not confirmed the match, while the ticket sales had some problems.
The European Football Federation (UEFA) decided Tuesday to transfer the Poltava game to Kiev, following the application of martial law in parts of Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Pietro Poroshenko announced the application of martial law in the context of military tension with Russia after the latter arrested Ukrainian vessels.
Poltava or Kiev are not subject to martial law in force in Ukraine, but UEFA based its decision on concerns regarding the safety of players.
Lesak confirmed that Vorskla was ready to play in Poltava if the match, which will take place in the fifth round (final), was decided by the fifth group of the continental competition group of Kiev.
Arsenal was officially qualified for the tournament lead with 32 points, with 10 points, while Forskla is third with three points.
