Mr. Khalid Hanafi, Secretary General of the Union of Arab Chambers, announced that the activities of the Sixth Arab Conference on Investments in Arab Food Security will be launched next Wednesday in the emirate of Fujairah, in the United Arab Emirates. Hanafi said the conference will continue for two days and will be held in cooperation with the Ministries of Environment, UAE Food Security, the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce, the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, the United Nations for Food and Agriculture and the Arab and International Food Industries.

The conference will discuss investments in Arab food security, funding mechanisms provided by the Arab Trade Finance Program, mechanisms and areas of financing needed by the private sector to invest in modernization and sustainability, as well as the role of the Arab Organization for Industrial Development and Mining Industry in the standardization of countries in the sector of food industries and the private sector. In promoting quality and safety in the food sectors and the role of small producers in securing and maintaining food security, the importance of extending the green zone and combating desertification Arab countries, smart agriculture, technology and scientific research to: T produce and manufacture food and drink.
