Fatima Batouq's health was an introduction to the sport. She said her weight in the past, which she called "supernatural", was the most important turning point in her life. "Sport has always existed in my life, but I've used it as a way to entertain more than anything else."
Batouq is renowned for having had an early sports experience compared to other Saudi women, living in a community of expats aware of the importance of sport. "Some Saudi women were involved, but their numbers were not important," she said.
After losing weight, Batouq spread the benefits of the sport in his community and started to obtain degrees in various areas of fitness and exercise outside of Saudi Arabia, where specialists in the material were unavailable.
One of the difficulties Batrouk encountered during her career was the closing of the beauty salon where she was giving fitness classes in 2012. At the time, many women's sports centers used permits. informal work under permits issued for salons and resorts where "there was no that provide licenses for women's fitness facilities," according to Batouq.

In particular, she has collaborated with other women to represent the eastern province of the kingdom and applied for licenses for women's sports facilities at the General Authority for Sport, formerly known as the General Presidency of the Presidency of the Republic. youth.
In 2017, Batouq was able to officially open its own sports club "Studio 55" via the license, despite repeated attempts to close it at the opening decision in 2015. Attempts to close resulted delay in the issuance of formal licensing operations despite obtaining the Commission's initial approval. .
Although she was confronted with many male critics for encouraging women to exercise at first, she was surprised to see that most of the criticism came from women. This has encouraged her to create her own sportswear brand TIMA for women, which takes into account the needs of Arab and Gulf women in the sport.
Batouq believes that the level of awareness of women's sport in Saudi Arabia and the various initiatives taken by the Kingdom by making physical fitness one of Vision 2030's major initiatives aimed at enabling schools to provide life-saving classes. physical education for girls was noted.
In the future, she wants to expand the horizons of women's sport in the Kingdom and plans to bring in foreign fitness coaches to share their experiences through workshops for women. "I really want to create a bigger community of fitness coaches – Saudi women."
