Sullivan was a competitive speed skater who aspired to compete in the 2018 Olympics. He appeared in a 2016 commercial for Uber that highlighted how he worked as a driver in order to earn money based on his full-time training program.

Uber did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News.
