"Quiet favorite." This is a way of saying politely to your Uber driver from STFU.
Silent mode is one of the new preferences available from Tuesday night across the United States for premium Uber rides, meaning only Uber Black or Uber Black SUV rides. This is the first time that the option is available on the Uber application.
Now, when you order a black car (that is, professional drivers and luxury vehicles, so there are no Priuses), you have a list of preferences that you can select .
Cyclists claim a "silent mode" when you do not want to chat. So, in the app, you can now say that you have no preference, that you prefer to stay quiet or happy to discuss as a conversation level that you prefer. There are also temperature preferences and a request for help for luggage.
Uber's premium attractions also add longer collection times and live phone support.
Lyft launched the idea of a silent or zen mode in cars last year and bikers are always eager to be able to option in all circuits – not just in the more expensive options. Lyft said that there were no updates on a possible Zen mode on the
uber and lyft need a "silent mode" that informs drivers that you do not want to talk.
