Ubisoft E3 2019: Date, time, tips, games and announcements of the conference

Ubisoft has always been E3's biggest risk taker in shows.

It was the company that inexplicably introduced us to Mr. Caffeine, only a year after interrupting his own press conference with a hectic Battle Tag demo. Even in 2018, years away from presentation gadgets being commonplace at E3, his lecture included two live performances. Behind the show is an exciting catalog of franchises and a history of great E3 ads. His shows continually balance what's predictable and what's not, making Ubisoft one of E3's most intriguing presenters.

Ubisoft E3 staples and surprises

Predictably, we expect to see franchises such as Just Dance, The Division, For Honor and Rainbow Six, which have become a staple of Ubisoft's show. We should also see Ghost Recon Breakpoint, the recently announced sequel to the 2016 Wildlands, scheduled for October 4th.

However, it is the unpredictability that makes Ubisoft so intriguing. The company recently announced that it had three unannounced AAA games by March 2020, potentially paving the way for a trio of big E3 revealers. Fans have long been waiting for a new Splinter Cell. Could the return of Sam Fisher be the big announcement of UBI to close the show?

Nintendo Switch games have been on the Ubisoft stage for the last two E3s, with Mario + Rabbids in 2017 and Star Fox in Starlink in 2018. Will this relationship lead to another collaboration, or perhaps to a suite of Mario + Rabbids?

Wait Watch Dogs Legion, Do not Expect Assassin's Creed

We know we will see more Watch Dogs Legions after its recent leak and official confirmation, but that still leaves a lot of rumors that could be confirmed during their show. There are the Roller Champions, the so-called Ubi game of the Rocket League, and Ubisoft Pass, the subscription service similar to EA Access by the company. If these leaks were true, we would almost both be revealed on stage E3.

The three games we do not plan to see are equally remarkable. After being late in 2020, Ubisoft announced that Skull & Bones would not be attending this year's show. We also know Beyond Good and Evil 2 will be excluded from the press conference of Ubi 2019 Ubi, the development team focusing "on the main stages of development". However, a BGE2 livestream will take place before the show on June 5th.

Meanwhile, Assassin's Creed starts the year for the third time in twelve years, while Ubi continues to focus on deploying DLC Assassin's Creed Odyssey. An Easter egg in The Division 2 points to the Vikings for the next potential AC game, but a release in 2020 will make next year's show more likely for her announcement.

Ubisoft E3 2019 Conference Live Stream Online

Ubisoft plans to broadcast its live press conference on Monday, June 10 at 1:00 pm Pacific Standard Time. The IGN pre-show will begin at 12:30 pm. Check out the E3 2019 schedule for local times and extra feeds, and where and how to watch the feed.

Without Sony in its usual Monday night niche, Ubisoft has more than just to share the day with Square Enix. With this extra leeway and the three potential AAA ads, we hope to see Ubisoft make waves at E3 2019. What do you hope to see in Ubi's presentation? Let us know in the comments and make sure you stay tuned to our hub E3 2019 for the biggest updates of this year's show.
