Ubisoft resizes Lady Dimitrescu from Resident Evil Village with Eivor from Assassin’s Creed

Earlier this month, Capcom revealed the official height of Lady Dimitrescu, one of the main antagonists of Resident Evil Village. At 9’6, the character towers over protagonist Ethan Winters, as well as almost every other video game hero, including actors from the Assassin’s Creed franchise! On Twitter, Ubisoft posted an image of Dimitrescu, comparing its size to Eivor and Basim from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Dimitrescu’s stature won her over with a good chunk of Resident Evil’s fanbase, and it seems Ubisoft was too keen to jump into the memes that have become more and more mainstream over the past month!

Ubisoft’s Tweet can be found below.

It might seem a bit odd for Ubisoft to promote Capcom’s upcoming entry into the Resident Evil franchise, but the two publishers seem to have a good relationship at the moment. This month, Ubisoft’s The Division 2 is hosting a side-event celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Resident Evil franchise. Until February 15, players can receive items based on the first three games in the Resident Evil franchise, including Leon S. Kennedy’s RPD outfit. Resident Evil and Assassin’s Creed are unlikely to end up having their own crossover, but it looks like anything is possible!

Outside of character height, there’s still a lot Resident Evil fans don’t know about Lady Dimitrescu. The character and his daughters will play a central role in Resident Evil Village, and players will be forced to deal with it when passing through Dimitrescu Castle. While the fan base clearly loves the villain at the moment, it remains to be seen if that will still be the case once players are forced to deal with her. Of course, Eivor would probably have a much easier time taking on the villain than Ethan!

Resident Evil Village releases May 7 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. In the meantime, you can check out all of our previous covers of the game here.
