Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returned to the pay-per-view (PPV) market this past weekend (Saturday, November 21, 2020) with UFC 255 from UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event featured a Flyweight title fight that saw Deiveson Figueiredo quickly do Alex Perez’s job, submitting him in just two minutes (see again here).
Additionally, 125-pound women’s champion Valentina Shevchenko defeated Jennifer Maia by unanimous decision to retain her title, while Paul Craig stopped Mauricio Rua via strikes in light heavyweight action. In addition, Tim Means and Mike Perry were involved in an up-and-coming slugfest which saw “Dirty Bird” survive “Platinum” after 15 minutes of action.
