The UFC roster is ready for midweek action.
With 14 fights on the schedule for Wednesday’s UFC Fight Island 8 card in Abu Dhabi, the 28 featured fighters managed to put on some weight on Tuesday morning, including welterweight headliners Michael Chiesa (170.5) and Neil Magny (171)
The co-main event also features a pair of welterweights, veteran Warlley Alves (171) and former Brave CF and UAE Warriors star Mounir Lazzez (171).
Other notable names have managed to gain weight: Roxanne Modafferi (126), who is participating in her 43rd professional fight; Tyson Nam (126), who returns to the flyweight division for a fight with Matt Schnell (126); Francisco Figueiredo (126) and Umar Nurmagomedov (136), brother of Deiveson Figueiredo and cousin of Khabib Nurmagomedov, respectively.
