Former UFC heavyweight champion, Cain Velasquez, led the revealed payroll for UFC Phoenix, banking a six-figure sum for his unsuccessful return against Francis Ngannou.

The Arizona Games Department released MMA Fighting the latest information on salaries on Thursday.

Velasquez suffered a 26-second defeat against Tgan TKO against Ngannou in the main event of the night, marking his return to the game after a 30-month layoff. Velasquez won a $ 450,000 bursary purse in the loss, while Ngannou cashed $ 220,000 for his victory.

The UFC Phoenix was held on February 17 at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. The main map of the night was broadcast live on ESPN.

Except for the two main fighters of the event, only two other athletes from UFC Phoenix have broken the six-figure mark: Aljamain Sterling ($ 140,000) and Nik Lentz ($ 106,000).

Among other things, Juli-jitsu sorcerer Kron Gracie won a $ 52,000 scholarship for his successful UFC debut against Alex Caceres.

In addition to their salaries reported to the commission, Gracie, Vicente Luque, Bryan Barberena and Luke Sanders also won $ 50,000 night bonus for their performances.

A complete list of UFC Phoenix salaries is available below. As always, these figures do not represent a fighter's total earnings, as some sponsorship revenue and discretionary bonuses are not made public.
