Ugly weekend of the target: the store has more technical problems than those of Saturday

"Like many other companies, Target is using NCR as a vendor to facilitate the acceptance of payments, and on Sunday, NCR encountered a problem in one of its data centers," said Target.

Target (TGT) said that the problem had been solved Sunday night and that it was not related to security. He also stated that "no payment information has been compromised at any time".

NCR could not be contacted for comment Sunday night.

Target goes online again after a widespread outage

Target also recognized the weekend events of its customers in short excuses.

"We know that many customers have had a frustrating shopping experience in our stores this weekend," said Target. "For that, we are really sorry."

The latest failures have not gone unnoticed online.

"We still have problems Sunday at @Target in Minneapolis," wrote a Twitter user.
"#Targetoutage continues to Cedar Rapids! No map will be scanned if it's not a gift card, and you have to pay in cash," wrote another.
Sunday's issue came one day after the company's cash registers suffered a two-hour system crash. This two-hour break was due to "internal technology issues".

Target said that Sunday's incident was not related to Saturday's number. The company has 1,800 locations in the United States and a presence in India.
