Ukrainian authorities last week dismantled a massive illegal Sony PlayStation 4 farm for what they believed to be a crypto mining operation. It turns out that the warehouse was actually grinding for FIFA Ultimate Team Coins and Cards.
According to the Ukrainian economic newspaper Job, who himself conducted an investigation following skepticism over the authorities’ initial findings, the 3,800 PS4s discovered were not actually used to mine the cryptocurrency, which makes sense given that their hardware and their graphics cards are not ideal.
