Officers responded to a 911 call from a man saying that there were people in his apartment outside Cincinnati who did not want to leave, said Sellars at the ### 39, a press conference Sunday morning. Sellars said that he had weapons in the apartment,
The agents who responded to the call could not reach him upon their arrival; he was barricaded in his apartment, said Sellars.
Then, around 8:15 pm, shots were fired from the apartment, said Sellars. Police in the Township of Pierce asked for a multi-agency intervention team.
Ten minutes later, the team arrives and tries to negotiate with the suspect, said Sellars, but other shots were fired.
At 22:37, other shots were fired. Sellars said he shot inside the apartment and that two Clermont County Sheriff's deputies had been hit.
There is always a scene of active confrontation, said Sellars. according to the CNN affiliate, WXIX.
The officials do not yet publish the names of the deputies.
