Two people were shot dead in DeKalb County on Friday afternoon, and SWAT officers were summoned to the scene, police said.
Brookhaven Police Commander Brandon Gurley stated that the North Metro SWAT team had this shootout possibly taking place in Brookhaven. "
The Ministry's Twitter page indicates a strong police presence on Barone Avenue and Clairmont Road.
The two victims are found shortly before 3 pm in a waffle house located at 2886 Clairmont Road, near the I-85, police said.
"We are still trying to determine where the incident took place. Both victims are thought to have driven here, "said Gurley.
They were both taken to a local hospital, the police said. Their conditions were not provided.
