5 children ejected, killed in an accident when the van leaves the road

Five children were killed this weekend when a vehicle veered off a Maryland road and crashed into a snowy wooded area, authorities said.

According to the Maryland State Police, Maryland State Police killed five children and injured two adults on Saturday around five o'clock in the morning.

"Every collision we've had when we lose our lives is a tragedy," Pickett said. "It's as simple as that. And when children are involved, it's more of a tragedy.
