ROMULUS, Mich. (WXYZ) – A 7-year-old girl was killed while attempting to cross eastbound I-94 in Romulus after police saying she was seeking help for her father who was allegedly involved in a drunk driving crash early Sunday.
Troopers arrived at eastbound I-94 and Inkster When officers began investigating, they did not fall victim to the injured person or animal in the area.
According to a series of tweets sent out by MSP Metro Detroit, after investigating the suspected pedestrian accident, troopers learned that the Romulus Police Department had been looking into a crash that happened on I-94 and Merriman involving a suspected drunk driver. occurred earlier. The police say the 7-year-old girl tried to cross Michigan State Police Officers have been investigating. The child was killed instantly.
