Boombox soloist Andrei Khlyvniuk and singer The Gitas Sasha Chemerov have long since planned to write a common composition 10 years ago. The work on the track started spontaneously only in the summer of 2017.
The groups wrote their own plays remotely, because they were on different continents.
The filming of the clip also took place on different continents. "Boombox" was filmed in Ukraine, as well as Italian Naples, Pompeii and the abandoned city of Krakow. And the Gitas were rolling in California looking for unique places.
"I loved filming this clip more than a very large number of clips that were taken earlier, personally by me, and more professional because here I managed to focus and capture real emotions. " – Andrei Khlyvniuk confesses.
According to the musicians, the essential of the song is "the air that remains for the listener". Everyone can find their own meaning.
The main task of a stranger is to choose what he must be: honest or intelligent.
