Some members also continue their activities in the Hikari-no-Wa organization. The most famous gas attack "Aum Shinrikyo" in the Tokyo subway on March 20, 1995, when members of the sect used zarin, toxic substance. Each of the intruders had with him two or three bags of toxic substances, which they forged with umbrellas, and then left in the cars. As a result, the attack killed 13 people, more than 6,300 people were injured.
