The owner of a bookstore calls 911 when the customer confronts Bannon
RICHMOND, Virginia (AP) – A Virginia bookseller has called the police after he has told that a client had started harassing former White House strategist Steve Bannon. Times-Dispatch reports that Nick Cooke, owner of Black Swan Books in Richmond, called 911 on Saturday afternoon after seeing a woman confront Bannon and call him a "garbage."
Cooke says that Bannon was busy with his business when the woman started harassing him. Cooke asked the woman to leave. She only did so after calling the police.
Richmond Police said they received the call around 3:15 pm Saturday, but the call was canceled before they arrived.
Bannon grew up in Richmond
The confrontation comes several weeks after a restaurant owner Lexington refused to serve White House spokeswoman, Sarah Huckabee Sanders
