Juventus paid Ronaldo 112 million euros

The best footballer in the world, a Portuguese Kristian, 33 years old Ronaldo has gone from the Spanish "Real" to the Italian "Juventus". The amount of the transfer amounts to 112 million euros – 3.4 billion UAH. That's 18 million euros more than what Real paid him nine years ago at Manchester United in England.

The main reason for the transition is the desire of the footballer himself. In Madrid, he won the Champions League four times, scored 451 goals and became the top scorer in the history of the club. He needs a new challenge. The Portuguese want to win the Champions League with Juventus, who has not been champion of Europe since 1996, and has lost five final matches since.

The contract was signed for four years. On one side, it's a long-term for a footballer who already has 33. By the second, Ronaldo's fitness allows him to play at a high level for another three or four seasons. Portuguese professional is able to go to the top of the form for the decisive matches.

Ronaldo's salary will be 31 million euros a year – 951 million UAH. In total, 7.5 million players were played last season by football players who played in Italy.
