McDonald's said that "for the sake of caution," decided to remove salads from the menu of about 3,000 restaurants in 14 states in the United States, according to the publication. There are institutions that work with the same supplier company that has delivered salads to network restaurants in Iowa and Illinois. His name is not specified in McDonald's.

A temporary ban on the sale of salads affected a portion of the network's restaurants located in both states, as well as in Wisconsin, Kentucky, Minnesota, Michigan, Nebraska, and Ohio. McDonald's said it has cooperated with authorities who are investigating poisoning cases and intends to change the salad provider in the near future.
