NASA's Asteroid 2017 YE5 was discovered last year at NASA's sighting last year.
NASA said it was considered dangerous by the ground for a while, but did not give it much meaning. This allowed to study using the Goldstone Radar and the 305-meter Artesibo radio telescope in Puerto Rico. Astronomers can use the signals received to understand the shape of an asteroid. Until now, scientists have been able to detect only three other "ideal" pairs
Most double asteroids are unequal, one eclipsing the other half. But in 2017 YE5 one half seems a lot darker than the other. New observations were made for the maximum approach of Earth asteroids when it flew at a distance of about six million kilometers from us
