The National Bank is about to launch a new law of 20 hryvnias in circulation in Ukraine. Tomorrow, July 17, the regulator will present it to journalists at 11 am and has already sent the appropriate invitations. The picture of fresh money is always kept secret. In NBU they even refuse to report whether the portrait of an outstanding writer and scientist, Frank Franko, will remain on the bank note.
Although the face of the Ukrainian Twenty will probably remain unchanged. In NBU it refers only to the "updated design and advanced protection system" of 20 thousand hryvnias of the 2018 model. By the way, the National Bank was already formed to amend this bill: they wrote twenty memorable hryvnias at the writer's 160th birthday (pictured below):
They printed a million coins and teruprâvління from the National Bank for 27 UAH. and 31 UAH (in envelopes of souvenirs – more expensive).
The new design of the 20th was not a big surprise. In the NBU a few years ago, declared itself willing to modernize the circulation of cash and increase the protection of Ukrainian money. Two tickets have already been reissued in a new design. These are UAH 100 and 500 that were launched in March 2015 and April 2016, respectively
Present tomorrow 20 UAH new sample will not be immediately launched in the banking system, but will appear with a delay, probably from the l 39; autumn 2018.
