Gold rose by 0.15%
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on July 20, 2018 compared to the previous banking day increased the rate exchange rate of 0.3% to 322.28 thousand. UAH for 10 ounces troy. This is evidenced by data on the official market rate of bank metals at the regulator's site.
Gold – 322 275.40 hryvnias per 10 troy ounces (+467.21 UAH or + 0.15%);
Silver – 4,087.34 for 10 troy ounces (-60.7 UAH);
Platinum – 214,426.71 UAH for 10 troy ounces (-2,575.83 UAH);
Palladium – 240 899.14 UAH for 10 troy ounces (NB: 223.6 UAH)
Note that the BNU, to fulfill its functions of accumulation and storage of gold reserves and foreign exchange, buys metals and precious metals in the form of scrap at competitive prices.
Changes in purchase prices are made daily in the event of a change in world prices for precious metals. The bank's purchase transactions and NBU precious metals in the form of scrap are made without paying the value-added tax.
