There is a risk of scattered lightning storms all over Georgia Saturday
However, it might not be as dark as a stormy storm forecast map painted in orange could make it look, said Channel Chief Meteorologist Channel 2 Action News Glenn Burns.
"During the night we will hear lightning, thunder and locally strong rain sometimes, but the good news is that it will weaken when it moves to northwest and west Georgia, "said Burns
(Channel 2 Action News).
After the possibility of severe weather has manifested itself in the early hours of the morning, we expect the sky to be clear and sunny until the time of day. breakfast, said Burns.
This is both a good and a bad thing. It's good because you do not have to cancel all your Saturday morning plans. This is bad because no cloud means that the sun will have the chance to warm Atlanta to a forecast maximum of 90 degrees, which will only become combustible for the afternoon storm surge said Burns. Do not cancel them but stay WEATHER WEATHER! Scattered storms heat up during the day and some may be strong or intense with potentially dangerous wind and hail. The risk of tornado is low. #gawx pic.twitter.com/ME3u8TOAfH
