The Grand Prize of the IX International Film Festival of Odessa received the film "Crystal" from the director Belarusian Daria Zhuk. UNIAN reports.

As part of the international competition, a special jury prize was awarded Romanian rider Constantin Popescu. Directed by Greek director Babis MacRidis, who shot the movie "Pity". He received a prize of 2,000 euros.
"Pity" is a satirical comedy with black humor elements telling the story of a 40-year-old man living with his son and caring for his wife in a coma.
In the nomination
The story tells the story of Alina, a 20-year-old girl from Kiev, who has the chance to break free from poverty through football, "the best European documentary film" by Ukrainian director Alice Kovalenko. She must start playing for the national team of Ukraine, but life challenges her: her mother dies leaving two children.
The IX International Film Festival of Odessa was held from July 13 to 21.
