BRICS presidents confuse flags
Even after a reshuffle, none of the presidents stand before the flag of their country.
At the BRIX summit, the presidents of the participating countries at a group photo could not handle the flags, taking place near the flag of a foreign country. For this reason, they had to be re-photographed. This was announced Thursday, July 26 by the journalist Dmitry Smirnov in its Telegram channel.
However, even after the politicians changed places, none of them stood in front of the flag of their country. Thus, the head of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, is located near the symbol of South Africa's Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi – near Brazilian President, South African Siril Ramafos, with Russian. Brazilian leader Mièle Temre took place in front of the banner of India and Russian President Vladimir Putin in front of the Chinese.
It is expected that the meetings of BRICS leaders will be held on July 26 in narrow and enlarged warehouses, as well as the signing of joint documents. On the same day, Putin's talks with Ramafosa are scheduled, as well as meetings with leaders from Argentina, Angola, Turkey, Zambia, China, and India.
The tenth BRIX Summit is being held in South Africa from 25 to 27 July.
