Croatian President invited Putin to Zagreb: "We are waiting a lot"

Croatian President Colinda Grabar-Kitarovich invited Russian leader Vladimir Putin to visit the country's capital Zagreb

"This would be the first state visit of the Russian president in Zagreb, and I think the time has come for him.We are waiting for Vladimir Putin," Grabar-Kitarovich said in an interview with Kommersant, saying that he "had found a common language with Putin".

According to her, negotiations with the Russian president could benefit not only Russia and Croatia, but also "throughout the region of South-Eastern Europe".

Croatia is a member of NATO and pleads for the implementation of the Minsk agreements in Ukraine, while supporting the continuation of the dialogue.
