Like other units of the Volkswagen Group, Audi is actively investing in the development of the electric car. The electric group Audi e-tron has appeared in 2018 and the launch of the Audi e-tron Sportback will be launched. The Audi e-tron GT sedan will be commercialized by the end of 2020.
A new sedan, created to compete with Tesla Model S, developed in cooperation with Porsche. The basis of the Audi e-tron GT was the new flat platform, in which the 90 kW / h battery is located in the space between the axles. Expected power reserve – more than 400 km without recharging.

The interior, despite its futurism, is maintained in the style of modern Audi models and includes a digital dashboard, touch screens on the center console and the central tunnel. Modern vehicle security systems also include advanced security systems.
Earlier, NV reported that Audi and Airbus had introduced a model, Pop.Up Next, designed to move electric cars in the air. The Pop.Up Next system should appear on the market in about ten years and even those who do not have a driving license can use it.
