UPDATE (23:25) – The Massachusetts State Police stated that the bus that crashed into the forest on Highway 24 South at Berkley on Saturday night was back in Tiverton , in Rhode Island, after the visit of the 25 occupants aboard LaSalette Sanctuary in North Attleboro, Massachusetts
State police claim that the accident occurred at 9:50 pm.
Two adults were transported to the Rhode Island Hospital with serious injuries. All other bus passengers were transported to Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River and Morton Hospital in Taunton for the treatment of minor injuries or for precautionary reasons.

ORIGINAL HISTORY (22:35) BERKLEY – Twenty ambulances transport victims of an accident involving a school bus on Highway 24 to Berkley. The accident was reported around 22 hours. Saturday on Highway 24 heading south near Exit 11 at Berkley. The scanner reports indicate that a school bus deviated from the highway and crashed into the treeline along the highway. Twenty ambulances were asked to react at the scene of the accident. According to scanner reports, there would have been between 15 and 20 injured in the accident.
Taunton police report that an incident causing numerous casualties has been reported.
All southbound lanes on Highway 24 were closed at Exit 11. [19659016] The Massachusetts State Police investigate the accident.
