The leaders of the world of smartphones have already reached a peak and the market is currently evolving among Chinese manufacturers. According to Gartner analysts, global sales were influenced by suppliers such as Huawei and Xiaomi in the third quarter of 2018, while giants remained in place (Apple) or fell quickly (Samsung).
In the third quarter, the smart phone market only increased by 1, 4%. 389 million gadgets were shipped by parts. Apple stayed almost there – an increase of 0.7%. The third quarter of Samsung represents the biggest decline in the entire history of its smartphone. It was 14% annualized and analysts attribute weak sales of the flagship brands Galaxy S9 and Galaxy Note 9.
But Huawei grew by 43% – experts say it's worth giving thanks to the gadgets of the Honor sub-brand. At the same time, the Chinese supplier has approached Samsung closely. Experts explain this with massive efforts in the markets of the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific, as well as Africa. For example, in India, the market for single-phone users buying Honor's extremely affordable handsets is considerable.
Although Samsung's sales have fallen catastrophically, gigantic scales have allowed it to remain a leader. The company sold 73.36 million gadgets in the third quarter, up from 85.605 million last year, compared to 52.218 million for Huawei (36.5 million years ago). Apple demonstrates 45.74 million (45.44 million years ago). Xiaomi's sales increased from 26.85 million to 33.219 million. Oppo ranked fourth out of 30.563 million (29.449 million years ago).
