MONTVILLE, NJ (AP) – A substitute teacher who told New Jersey freshmen that Santa was not real would not come back to school.
NJ.com reports the superintendent of schools in Montville. Rene Rovtar confirmed Tuesday that the teacher would no longer work in the district after the Thursday incident at Cedar Hill School.
Rovtar declined to comment further on the situation, saying that it was a personnel problem.
Including Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy and an elf on a shelf.
Rovtar had previously stated that she was discouraged by the incident and that "the wonder of childhood associated with all feasts and traditions" is dear to her.
