Microsoft builds its own Chromium-based browser to replace the standard version of Windows 10 by Edge.

The new browser for Windows 10 received the code name Anaheim and replaced the proprietary EdgeHTML engine with Chromium. According to The Verge's report, "Microsoft is constantly disappointed with the compatibility of websites and the Edge browser." It is also worth noting that the company's engineers are working with Google to support the Chrome version of the Windows operating system with ARM support.
The use of Chromium means that sites will display and work in the new Microsoft browser, just like in Google Chrome.
Interestingly, a year ago, in December 2017, Microsoft had removed Google's Chrome Installer application from the Windows Store, stating that it violated the store's policy. One of Chrome's developers said that its browser had been removed for the use of Microsoft's Microsoft Edge technologies.
