"Peresvit" complexes are more likely to perform anti-aircraft and anti-missile defense functions. However, detailed information on new weapons is kept secret. However, the RF Ministry of Defense says that "the army is developing new weapons and making military calculations".
In addition, the BBC, referring to the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Valery Gerasimov, said that the weapon would be ready to be used in real combat conditions.
Gerasimov also said that mass production of the Avangard missile complex had been launched in Russia, with a missile equipped with a winged unit.
By the way, the President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, said that the Russian Federation strongly increased the number of its troops and armed vehicles along the border with Ukraine and in the occupied territories Crimea.
