Audi announced the recall of about 64,000 V-TDI diesel vehicles
The Audi press service reported, according to a correspondent.
"Audi will report from tomorrow, in Germany, about 64,000 diesel vehicles.V-TDI engines," – said in a message.
It should be noted that the Federal Office of Motor Transport (KBA) has authorized Audi to update the software engine. This applies to the 103,500 Series A6, A7 Sportback and A8 cars, as well as the non-Euro 6 compliant Q5 and SQ5 TDI SUVs.
The company explained that software engine would be partially removed. For some variants of the models, the sensory system will be updated. This update will be free for Audi customers and will not negatively affect fuel consumption, CO2 emissions, engine performance, maximum torque and noise, as well as the longevity of the exhaust system.
