The US State Department refused a temporary visa to Noah Aguilar to allow him to leave Guatemala to attend the services of his teenage daughter, according to the father's attorney.
"I had hoped that they would find in their hearts to let me attend the funeral of my daughter," Aguilar told CNN during a brief telephone interview on Friday.
"It's very sad, she was my princess, she will always be my princess."
