Two Ukrainians who went to the United Nations Climate Conference were arrested in Poland

Two Ukrainians, members of the Ecody ecologist organization, arrested in Poland, who were traveling to Katowice at a UN climate conference.

Iryna Stavchuk, head of this organization, announced the detention, reported "Public Radio".

"There was no connection with our two militants as early as the morning, the last message was that the police had come to the hotel to check the documents … Even at night, the consulate Ukraine told us that they knew where they were and that they would try to resolve this situation, "she said.

Stavchuk said that his five Ukrainians and four other citizens ( Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Georgia) had all attended the same conference. Border guards were not allowed in Poland.

According to Stavchuk, they say: "considered as a threat to public order, internal security, public health or international relations of any Member State of the European Union".

The ambassador of Ukraine to Poland, Andriy Deshchytsia, was then informed on his Twitter, detained activists have already been released.
