In particular, henceforth, the right to vote would not be deprived of the right to vote in the delegations of the Member States in the election of officials occupying high positions, and Russia was deprived of its right to vote in 2014

The Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) decided in Paris that a vote would not deprive the delegations of Member States of the election of officials of the Council posts high including the members of the European Court of Human Rights and the Secretary General of the Council

Reminder, the Rules of Procedure of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe supported the amendments to draft 9, amendments to the rules on the imposition of sanctions proposed by Ukraine, making it impossible to refer the Russian delegation.
